Dickson Falls Trail is a spectacular walk in Fundy National Park, New Brunswick, Canada!
Embark on this easy 0.9 mile loop through a land filled with emerald green moss covered rocks and gently cascading waterfalls.
An overwhelming sense of peace and calmness will fill your soul as you find yourself surrounded by the gentle coolness of the air and hear only the sound of the water flowing past.
Dickson Falls Trail
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this trail! And I was shocked how little information I found about it online when I was researching for my trip to New Brunswick. Yes, it’s a short trail and it’s more of a walk than a hike, but we found it to be perfect for our family and the scenery was spectacular!
We chose to hike this trail on a summer evening and I highly recommend this!
Watch the water flow over the endless sea of moss covered rocks. Feel the coolness that surrounds you in this fern lined valley. Become immersed into this emerald green magical land. Honestly, I felt like a fairy was going to pop out at any minute! The landscape was so unreal! But I will be honest, I am a sucker for moss covered rocks and ferns. I don’t know why. For some reason I just love them!
We recommend walking this incredible trail early in the day or later in the evening. Because from what I’ve heard, this trail can get pretty crowded mid-day. This is the most popular trail in the Fundy National Park. And in my opinion, crowds of people would take away from the peaceful and magical feeling of this trail.
This is a Great Family Photo Spot.
This trail has several great places to take a family picture. I like this one here the best because of the way the board walk curves around and allows you to get a beautiful photo of your family next to this picturesque stream.
At the end of the boardwalk portion of the trail you will find this pretty waterfall.
Although this waterfall is only 25′ tall, it is the most photographed waterfall in the park and you can tell that we were loving it!
